This is a Van Wijk Winery sponsored "Live Local" event.  Join us in our first Dutch Letter Homestead event and learn hands-on skills to make your own homemade probiotic Ginger Ale and a Ginger Bug starter culture.

Ginger bug lets you create healthy sodas at home.  A ginger bug starter culture features lactobacillus (wild bacteria), wild yeast, and like all lacto-fermented foods, this process is known to support gut-health and overall wellness.

From this experience, you will take home a jar of Ginger Bug culture, a bottle of homemade Ginger Ale, and recipes with instruction to make both.  Ticket price includes the hands-on guidance and support, printed instructions, ingredients, and 2 glass containers.
